Overview

Nigeria is one of the world's significant tourmaline sources, and the pegmatites of the south-west produce rubellite, indicolite, verdelite and bi-coloured crystals in commercial quantity.

Because tourmaline value swings sharply on colour saturation, we sort aggressively at the mine and again before offer, rather than pushing mixed parcels onto buyers and negotiating afterwards.

Applications

  • Designer and fine jewellery
  • Collector and specimen crystals
  • Lapidary rough for cutting houses
