How we handle the information you give us through this website, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are
Ayotaye Minerals Limited (RC 1551230) is the data controller for information collected through this website. Our head office is at L7/59B, Ajose Sangosaro Lalupon, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. You can reach us about anything on this page at info@ayotayeminerals.com.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. That is:
- Enquiry details: the name, email address, company name, enquiry type and message you submit through a form on this site.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or telephone in connection with an enquiry.
- Application material: a CV and covering note, where you apply for a role with us.
This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, to supply a company profile or investor deck you have asked for, to assess a job application, and to keep a record of our dealings with you as a business. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Legal basis
We process enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business. Where we hold information that is not necessary for either of those, we do so only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for three years from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Records relating to an executed contract, a shipment or a joint venture are kept for the period required by Nigerian tax, company and mineral-sector law. Unsuccessful job applications are held for twelve months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Who we share it with
We share information only where we have to: with our professional advisers, with service providers who host this website or handle our email, and with regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to. Anyone acting for us is bound to use the information only for the purpose we gave it to them for.
One of those providers is worth naming, because it handles what you type. The enquiry form on this site is delivered by FormSubmit, which passes the name, email address, company name and message you submit to us and does not use them for anything else. If you would rather not have your enquiry pass through it, email us directly at info@ayotayeminerals.com instead.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, to provide a copy of it, to correct anything inaccurate, to delete it where we have no continuing reason to keep it, and to stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to info@ayotayeminerals.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and held on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you give us, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
